Born to please
Brooke always aims to give more value for your money, and more than that, more than you expected. There’s a balancing act between entertaining, time-passing storytelling and six strides over the TMI intimacy line. It’s a good act. The part that’s an act I mean. Narrative arc, quality production, thought & consideration for what may please the audience. It’s the parts that are over that line however that might keep you returning and thinking about him and yourself and your life from a slightly tilted vantage. The brave disclosures and raunchy authenticity come from a desire to invite you to let down your walls and join in a moment of truth, no matter how brief. Not every episode hits a home run but every episode makes the effort to. Somewhere in the 15-20 mins you’ll hear or sense something that resonates, or maybe doesn’t but is worth further thought. More than worth the price of admission.
Drama Class was so long ago
The last time and space I was with Brooke was dram class in high school...you knew he was going to have a unique life because as he states he clearly wasn’t a “hockey head” and he munched to the beat of his own percussion instrument from the get go....I have enjoyed this podcast immensely and getting to know who he really has become and I am jealous, happy, mystified and captured in his incredible verbiage.
Not that you need to hear it but great job Brooke, this podcast is wonderful!

Well produced food for thought.
It's a very good show indeed where I can disagree with almost everything in an episode (The Infinity War one FYI) while also loving every second of it. Gets the hamster wheel turning.
