Canada and the U.S: A Complicated Relationship

The Blueprint: Canada’s Conservative Podcast

The Prime Minister has been putting Canada at a significant disadvantage on the world stage. GDP per capita has declined for 6 consecutive quarters while our 3rd quarter GDP slowed sharply to 1% annualized.

On top of that, if he goes ahead with his plan to quadruple the carbon tax to 61 cents a litre, it would push our economy into a tailspin. Combining this crippling tax increase with the incoming US President’s threat of a 25% tariff would cause our economy to teeter on the brink of collapse.

Businesses in the United States do not have to pay a carbon tax while Canadian businesses have been squeezed after 9 years of this government.

Here to talk more about these issues we have Ryan Williams MP Bay of Quinte joining the show to discuss how the Prime Minister continues to drop the ball at the negotiating table, and much more.
