If I just make a little bit more money, if my partner works harder, if my marriage is like this then I will have this. It’s like “if this, then this” and that’s all like a codependent thought. My happiness is dependent upon whatever. This whole journal kind of pulls you out of that to put you in the right relation with yourself to realize that in order for there to be change there needs to be self-accountability. In order for there to be change, you need to be able to be proactive and spot an issue when you're in the moment so you can take a new action.”
