This podcast has been so helpful with my comprehension. I start every day listening to one while I exercise. The topics are varied…. Sometimes it’s an interview, other times the podcast concerns, a grammatical point. Usually, Nate is the one who answers Andrea’s questions . His answers are not always perfect, buI this only adda to the effectiveness of the teaching. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to learn through Spanish conversations spoken with a neutral accent.

I came across Españolistas podcasts quite by accident about 6 months ago and have been listening to them ever since! I love the speaking pace of Andrea and the banter with her husband, Nate. I have been studying Spanish for 2+ years, and off and on before that. I have a private tutor in Mexico City via Zoom (I’m in Canada) whose could be a clone for Andrea, their pronunciation and cheerful nature are so alike. Españolistas had vastly enlarge my exposure to the language and helps reinforce the grammar and sentence structure I am already learning. Topics are varied and interesting. I look forward to each new podcast and Monday email! Thanks Andrea and Nate for providing this to us, any at no cost. ❤️

I am learning Spanish and I love this podcast. Right now I slow it down to .75 but soon I’ll be able to understand it full speed. I like having both Andrea and Nate speaking. And the topics have been really good. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been listening to podcasts for learning Spanish for years and this one is my new favourite. I love the wide variety of themes, both cultural and language-based, and also the fact that Andrea almost always corrects Nate’s mistakes. I often say to myself, “That’s the same mistake I would have made!” so hearing Andrea’s correction is really important for me. One theme I’d love to hear Nate and Andrea discuss is the incredible bird diversity of Colombia - nearly 2,000 species! Dado que yo soy “pajarero” es un tema que me encantaría. Voy a hacer un viaje de observación de aves a Colombia en noviembre. No veo la hora. (¡Gracias, Andrea por este modismo!) Sería genial si ustedes pudieron hacer un episodio sobre las aves de Colombia, la popularidad que está adquiriendo entre los propios colombianos, su importancia económica y mucho más. Hay un montón de vocabulario que podríain introducir, como describir el aspecto de un pájaro, su comportamiento, su canto y mucho más. ¡Gracias Andrea y Nate por su podcast estupendo !
