A work of art

This series is truly so special. The storytelling is gripping and poetic, bolstered by immersive sound design and gorgeous original music. The framing is deeply thoughtful, well-researched and reflective. The beautifully interwoven interviews range from personal and familiar, to funny and charming, to informative and thought-provoking, challenging and heartbreaking, searingly hopeful. The artful bending of fiction and non-fiction is unlike anything I’ve heard before, and the level of vulnerability is just so generous. What a gift.

Everyone should listen to this

Recommended to so many pals already, it’s well worth the listen. Ready for a second season!

Brilliant, surprising, thoughtful

I didn’t know what to expect(!), and was drawn in from the beginning to the thoughtful, human, funny, touching approach to asking big questions and raising troubling issues. We follow the narrator through ups and downs, hopefulness and hopelessness, as she figures out her own path. Highly recommended.
