Session 62. Ahead of Its Time? Classic Monster? Aliens?! - Ed Wood

This therapy session is about the classic director Ed Wood, most known for his films in the 1950s, "Glen or Glenda," "Bride of the Monster," and "Plan 9 From Outer Space." We will cover these films as well as the Tim Burton film, "Ed Wood," starring Johnny Depp. We highly suggest watching the original films in black and white (their intended color) before watching the Tim Burton film if possible.
*SPOILER ALERT* We recap and discuss these movies in full. So, if you haven't seen them and don't want to know how they end, we recommend watching them before listening to this podcast.

Session 59: Which Wonka Wanks Your Willy - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory & Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Will Willy B**k Ya in da Chocolate Factory?  With their popular hit single: 🎵 That pipe doesn't go to the marshmallow room. It goes to the fudge room. 🎵 Next time on film therapy, will Timothee Chalamet find YOUR chocolate factory? We sure hope so!!! Today we take a look at the 1971 classic film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory before diving into the 2005 remake Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, each based on the original book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We then speculate on the upcoming Timothee Chalamet prequel film, Wonka.

    Session 58. Freaky Friday(ish) - Your Name.

If you like a good body swapping tale, this is a good film for you! Two strangers find themselves switching into each other's bodies at random times and find that they are connected by fate. Directed by Makoto Shinkai (The Place Promised in Our Early Days, Weathering With You, Garden of Words) this sweet, fun-loving but V serious toward the end anime was released in 2016.
