Factual and entertaining Canadian Law
Feb 11
I love listening to The Docket, learning about Canadian law, while being entertained by bright, engaging hosts.
Unexpected

For a podcast on the law where evidence should reign, there is much conjecture, supposition and honestly it just feels like advocacy for liberal policies and other sjw talking points. I have only heard a few eps so maybe there are more fact-based arguments on others I missed.
One of my favourite podcasts

I enjoy listening to this podcast so much. Learned a lot about canadian law and how the justice system works. They explain all these interesting law concepts so well, easy to understand and follow. Also i think their point of views complement each other very well that it brings out different aspects of the issue they’re talking about. Wish they released episodes more often.
Making a Legal Podcast interesting

Hosted by a highly respected defence lawyer, and a highly respected crown attorney, The Docket is a podcast for the layperson, not just the law person. Emily and Michael discuss important legal issues and decisions in common language, and help to explain complex legal concepts in Canadian law. Occasional guests bring unique perspectives on cases, and the discussions informative. An excellent podcast.
