I really appreciate the truths the come out of these podcasts. Even offhanded comments help to foster understanding and love between spouses. Lots of really good wisdom here! I do wish though that the podcasts were more direct and on topic. For example, I listened to the “when your spouse doesn’t receive positive affirmation” podcast in order to seek specific wisdom about that topic. There was one comment at the beginning that was helpful, about how it’s not our responsibility but we can be either a cheerleader or an enemy in our spouse’s life. But the rest was talking generally about trust and such… and didn’t give me any clear help or advice.

Wish they were the whole conversation or longer…

I love this! The only issue with this is its too short.

I wish the episodes released were the whole conversation- it’s frustrating having to reboot every different episode!!

I love the messages and insights and that serious topics are discussed with positivity and some humour. I love that the podcasts are short and sweet because if there’s something that stands out to me it’s easy to have time to show my hardworking and busy husband so we can have our own conversation about it.

Thank you Focus on the Family for creating a podcast that has really given me a fresh perspective on my marriage relationship and how I should be acting in it. I feel like I finally have the tools to be an attentive and better listener and responder.

Why is it always the mans fault? There’s always something we are NOT doing. She wants to feel loved and we have to do that but she still disrespect us and gets away with it. Marriage can be frustrating, but even more when the finger of blame is always on The Husband, never the wife. :(
