Guys! Long time fan from Canada since 95.7 the game days. Thank you Greg Papa for bringing me to that station and introducing me to you two. I love the realistic takes you two have with the Raiders! unbiased unlike some in Vegas it’s a refreshing take and unlike most raiders fans I love the smoke you guys bring. Question for the pod regarding the most recent important coaching hire for Mark D. I’ve loved AP since moving on from Josh, obviously reasons. But what predicament is Mark going to be in if Jimbo is considering both Chargers and Raiders? Mark cannot allow Jim to go to chargers and haunt the Raiders for another decade with Sean and Andy already in the division. Is there a possibility he picks AP and Jimmy H goes to chargers ?? if so ….. what would be the reasons and how bad will it end. It’s been rough enough being a Raiders fan and if happens I feel it’s just another decade of me miserable on Sundays. Please tell me it’s not possible he goes to chargers over Raiders. Maybe the case is he stays at Michigan go Blue! #letsgettheNatty and chargers cheap out and hire another dud. Love to hear your thoughts on this

Now to my question - do you think there is any validity to the thought that The Rock and the XFL may have placed a call to John Lynch or anyone in the 49ers front office after the Trey Lance injury regarding Lance playing in the XFL next spring? Clearly The Rock wants to broker a deal with the NFL on player sharing similar to NFL Europe in the early 2000s and he wants as much player name recognition as possible for his league. In order to broker a deal with the NFL and the NFLPA, The Rock would need a sponsor from within the NFL. In this case, they may have a willing advocate in the 49ers. The 49ers, meanwhile, desperately need to get Trey as much real game experience as possible and this potentially could enable that before the 2023 NFL season. His injury recovery timeline puts him as healthy roughly around the start of the XFL season.
