Heart of Dating

So I’ll admit, I was very skeptical when I saw this podcast. A “Christian dating podcast” immediately made me think it would be out of touch and/or potentially a little cringey… but it’s actually pretty great. Kait and JJ are spirit-filled, they seem really genuine when they talk, and they cover topics that I haven’t heard anywhere else. They give concrete advice, which is refreshing in a world of dating ambiguity, even if I don’t always agree. They seem like people I could be friends with, which is a neat vibe to get from a podcast. I’ve been listening pretty regularly for almost two years now and I really appreciate what they’re doing! Definitely worth a listen if you’re Christian and single or actively dating :)

I have learned buckets and bucket of wisdom from this podcast! I'ts something I look forward to every week and the variety of topics that have been covered within Christian Dating, in combination with Kate's down to earth and kind personality make a amazing podcast! I even listen the episodes I can't relate to yet, its that good!

I found Kait and JJ through another podcast and have been obsessed. I started listening to Season 10 a couple weeks ago and listen any chance I get. I have learned a lot and love the combo of using scripture and their own experiences to wade through complex conversations like sex, body shame, purity culture, etc. I don’t agree with everything they say but it is great to hear someone else’s perspective to help me understand my own. I would say I struggle more to understand the men’s minisodes but I am a woman so maybe a man’s perspective is unrelatable to me. Regardless, I would recommend this podcast to all the single Christian’s I know! And even to some of the non-Christian’s I know because the content can apply to us all! I also did not give 5 stars because I would like to hear from experts that include therapists & counselor. Often the guests are their friends who have cool things to see but I’m not always clear their credentials to the topic. Could be because I have not listened to enough episodes yet.

The discussions and advice comes across as quite worldly. Not deeply connected to the Father.
