Customer Reviews
Five stars. Clever concept, well executed, no vocal fry
Very good concept and good range of stories. The host has enough ‘attitude’ to properly take the interviewees to task in line with the show’s concept ... but enough humanity to pull off a good interrogation without sounding churlish. It’s an important skill and she deserves praise for her style and delivery. Another *huge* advantage ... I heard hardly any vocal fry. Vocal fry is common in ABC podcasts among male and female voices and a major distraction/turn-off. I was pleased to be able to concentrate on the material in this podcast and not be distracted by scratchy voicing
Interesting perspectives
I find it fascinating to hear other people’s perspectives. I think the host is firm but fair. Hope they make a second season.
Great Concept but Judgemental
Interesting topics with the idea of exploring the other side of condemned or controversial issues. However, the interviewer approaches the topics with one side as if trying to get them to admit how horrible they are rather than listen to their version of the story. Rather than opening up conversation this podcast justifies judgement.
