Spreading information

Raw is best as it’s natural. It’s how they ate for hundreds of years. These kibble companies pay for the “research” whereas the raw companies don’t need to because the results present themselves. You see the difference. Period

Let me guess the vet who left a review took her ‘nutrition’ courses from Purina or some other gross pet food company. She says corn is actually good for dogs - well she likely doesn’t believe most crops are GMO either. Come on vets get with it! You are the only healthcare profession still recommending highly processed fast food diets! Amanda keep up the amazing work you’re doing spreading info about holistic alternatives!!!!
Spreading misinformation
2018-12-06
I got about 15 minutes into the episode about raw feeding and had to stop listening because of the sheer amount of misinformation being presented. As someone who has worked in veterinary medicine for 12 years and who has taken nutrition courses, there is nothing wrong with corn (which is actually a great source of antioxidants and EFA’s), or grains (unless they have an allergy to it, and the majority of food related allergies in pets are actually due to the protein source), or cellulose (which is NOT sawdust, it comes from plants and is a great source of insoluble fibre). There just isn’t any research backing up the claims that raw diets are better than cooked/commercial diets, and presenting anecdotal evidence as facts is just plain misleading and irresponsible.
