Utterly baffled by the inclusion of the inarticulate Jack Howard who only defends his arguments via his ill considered barely recalled emotional responses to films. He’s incapable of making rational arguments and there’s no reason for us to ever hear him. Mark is great, I often disagree, but I’m always happy to hear his informed and reasoned opinions.
Refreshingly different from Wittertainment

I wasn’t sure what to expect - the podcast cover makes it look like it’ll be a tedious discourse on the mis-en-scene in pre-war Yugoslavian cinema - but this was funny and engaging throughout. If you’re a fan of the Kermode and Mayo podcast, this has the same fun and irreverent tone. The clips from the live show were hilarious, especially Michael Caine’s. Looking forward to more of these and hopefully there’ll be an episode with Kim Newman soon.
