Splendid!
TL;DR: Ladies Slaying Dragons is bound to grow into a wonderful D&D community-focused show. I'm excited to hear more from these women about their lives, their games, and their experiences.
What an excellent introductory episode, which sets us up what we can expect in future from this show. I loved hearing each host's story of how they got into D&D and how welcome they have found the community at large. I look forward to hearing more about them and the topics they approach, as well as hearing them run some actual plays every so often.
As is the case with most brand new shows, there are some minor audio issues that can easily be fixed. But don't let these minor issues stop you from listening: this show is bound to get even better and have some great discussions in the future. Kudos to the Ladies Slaying Dragons for their first foray into podcasting and launching what is bound to be a great show!
Also, gosh, the ending of this episode is the tops. I loved it. No spoilers, but I hope that they continue to end each episode this way. Well written, beautifully voiced, and captivating.
