Lords of Grantham: Downton Abbey, The Buccaneers, The Gilded Age & More

A fun way to get even more out of the show. Listening to these two feels like watching Downton with friends. I often find myself debating with them through my speakers. Overall refreshing and fun!

An indictment of the American education system.

While there were some episodes that were quite good, there was quite a bit of it that I couldn’t really stand and really didn’t like that they basically made fun of the shows that they were covering. It also showed that they really didn’t do any sort of research into the historical dramas that they were covering and don’t really give any sort of consideration that there might be people who would want thoughtful discussions about the shows they are covering. It was getting to the point that their “humour” was just plain idiotic. If you want to try this show, good on you, but don’t expect really great results from this show.

Just finished the Downton Abbey coverage on this podcast. It was fun to hear them talk prepandemic and can’t wait to dive into a Crown Reatch!
