Mickey and Tristan discuss the post 9/11 surveillance state and ever expanding millennial income gap that contributes to the anxiety and cynicism that permeates the album. For our film pick (1:11:15) we watched the 2018 Lars Von Trier film The House That Jack Built. Is it a bitting satire that critiques our normalization of violence, or is it self important pretension that delusionaly conflates fetishized abuse with high art?
