In the wake of the dissolution of Green River and then Mother Love Bone, a new band coalesces, and explodes after adding an enigmatic frontman in the form of a San Diego surfer named Eddie. From their first shows as Mookie Blaylock to confronting a level of fame they never imagined, the story of Pearl Jam is a whirlwind that has now spanned three decades. On our first installment we take you from the origins of the band through their epic classic “Vs.” Joining us to start this journey is former Ringer writer and current ESPN analyst Kevin Clark.

Sad to say that it took me so long to discover Yasi. It annoys me that I was looking for female led content but that the truth. And she’s killer for it and now I don’t feel so guilty for loving music that much.

It is a little hard to put into words how I feel about this pod. Partly cuz I sux w them but …. Hours of pure joy is what I get from listening to Yasi and her pals lay out the history of any band. Putting things in context ….. ah whatever you are ducking killing it Yasi!!!!! Also I feel like the world has been waiting for this exact thing . Makes all other music pods seem dated and weird
