This 90-minute event will be in a panel format where discussions around topics like COVID-19, Social Media, Prioritizing Self-care, and Substance Misuse will take place with several clinical psychologists. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage and ask questions anonymously as well as learn about getting comfortable around mental health dialogue and conversation. This event is presented by Mind of Mine Foundation in partnership with Centre for Obesity and Well-being Research Excellence (CORE) at the University of British Columbia. Kaylee is a PhD candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at UBCO. Kaylee has conducted research in the area of eating disorders and body image for six years, including developing and teaching a third-year course on the psychology of body image. Her recent research involves the creation of a body dissatisfaction prevention program that focuses on the role of self-compassion, mindfulness, and yoga in preventing body image concerns for youth.
