Mindfulness for the Modern Family dives into the world of parenting today and is for anyone wanting to hear about other’s experiences with family dynamics and raising kids. We talk about navigating difficult situations, careers, celebrating life and love and how mindfulness comes into play as we go through our daily lives. It’s a beautiful platform for people to share learnings around the mindset needed to raise happy kids.
Ben and Ashley Srokosz (pronounced Sir-oh-kiss) live in Chatham, Ontario with their 10-year-old son. They've been married for 13 years and both operate their own creative businesses. We like to watch TV shows together as a family (Modern Family is one of our favourites) and spend every weekend during the summer at our trailer. We all love cooking and trying new foods and we all like to win, which makes game nights really fun.

Informative and Engaging

Shaelah has had an interesting range of guests so far. Most importantly, she lets them speak! She doesn’t feel the need to make the show about her, she just guides the conversation.
