Noble
In the winter of 2002, police discovered more than 300 bodies on one property in the tiny town of Noble, Georgia. What followed was one of the biggest and most expensive investigations in the history of the American South. To get to the bottom of this forgotten case, journalist Shaun Raviv visits a rural community with plenty of secrets. He discovers the epic history of the well-respected family who owned the property, uncovers the fates of the bodies sent to a crematory called Tri-State, and searches for the mysterious man at the center of it all. And in the process, Shaun explores one of the most primal and vexing questions we face as human beings: What do the living owe the dead? Noble is an 8-episode series with new episodes publishing Wednesday mornings.

Exquisitely told

An upsetting subject matter, but somehow - confoundingly - so beautifully told. Compelling storytelling/journalism, artfully done. I was incredibly moved while listening to this podcast. Definitely recommending this podcast, and it has cemented itself as one of my Top 5 favourites. Well done to all those involved.
Favors the criminal not the victim
Nov 2
I really liked this podcast, until the last two episodes. He was so disrespectful to all the victims except Sheila who thought Brent should do no time. Made a comment that people didn’t come in to pick up the remains sent for testing… comparing it as if the crime was really so bad if they didn’t pick up the remains? Maybe because they didn’t want to pick up “cement” or cremains that were not their loved one? Maybe they were too traumatized? I thought that comment was disgusting. Then to say the town didn’t seem that affected over 20 years later. Very disappointing. I felt the last two episodes were to get Brent off parole. I was so mad I listened to the end. Never will listen to you again. Hope you really do not side with Brent who is a sicko.
