I’ve learned so much listening to this show. Have binged all the episodes and appreciate what Andrea is committed to raising. I wish her and her extended family, the best of health and discernment.
Fantastic

Too many ads about host

This podcast was recommended based on similar podcasts of interest but it just doesn’t live up to the hype. It is SO slow, much more than similar ones and it feels like they’re dragging out the content. Then when it comes it feels very anti-climatic. The number of interruptions about the host’s other projects makes this podcast almost unbearable. It’s too bad because it has such potential. Perhaps I need to try from the first season but my expectation is low. Thumbs down!!
Thank You For Your Work

I was late to watch Take Care of Maya on Netflix, and unfortunately believed basically everything I was presented when I watched it not long ago. This podcast illuminated how one-sided, manipulative, and malicious the documentary was and the very real impact it will have on children across the United States. I have since cancelled my Netflix subscription and will no longer be watching any Netflix-produced documentaries.
Fab Fact Checker!

I’m hooked! I could listen to Andrea for ever. Her coverage is factual, fair and non-biased. With so many podcasters who lead you down a path, Andrea brings an awareness of a very serious topic, digs up the facts and presents. It’s up to the listener to make the decision and opinion on the topic. NETFLIX you gave the rights to the wrong reporter!!
Weakly written and biased

Seems to be a thinly veiled man-hating agenda to this show which, frankly, is to its detriment.
Better Training
Jan 6
I am still only on the first season, but I am struck by how many of these stories start with a man not being able to keep it in his pants! Men, learn some self-control! Better training is definitely needed for medical and child protection professionals. It seems like they only go after parents who are not actually abusers (everywhere except this one part of Texas).
Really good, needs some work

I recently discovered this podcast after someone told me about the subject of season three. Love it and I’m so fascinated with the topic generally. The white woman liberalism and compulsory heterosexuality takes me out of it a bit but I’m still going to listen.
Why is this so unbelievable?

I don’t understand why people have difficulty believing that a mother would hurt their children? They accept that a mother would beat their child! How is this different?! It’s all abuse!
Lost me at season three
2024-09-01
I just binged and loved seasons one and two. They were a good listen, host was quite informative and compelling. Great break down of the facts. Season three however seems to be nothing but an indulgent opinion piece where the host “interprets the information” of this case. She comes off as quite condescending, implying that she has so much more experience than experts, the legal system and the listener. Got to episode four in Season 5, I’m done. I will watch the Netflix doc now and form my own opinion on this case.
