On Fire with Jeff Probst: The Official Survivor Podcast

My husband and I have been huge Survivor fans from the beginning. I just found this podcast and have been listening non stop for days. If you are a Survivor fan this is a must listen!

My husband and I started watching Survivor together a few years ago. (10 seasons in 1 summer…) He always pokes fun at me because of how invested I get in researching the interviews and socials of each player. Needless to say, this podcast has been a gold mine for my (essential 🤪) bts research, and has absolutely saved my sanity as I contact nap our new baby for hours in a dark room each day. Having a baby has really limited our tv time, but we still manage to squeeze in each episode every week! We love Survivor day, and can’t wait for this little one to get big enough to join the tradition!

As a fan right from the first season in 2000, I can say that adding the podcast to my weekly routine after watching the show has only deepened my adoration of Survivor. This podcast answers every question a fan could ever have while watching the show. I too have wondered many a time how they get such good audio quality, or why Jeff says the things he does (or doesn’t). Now, 25 years in, I wonder no more. I tell all my Survivor fan friends to listen, but I secretly hope they don’t because I get to sound super smart when I share just how they came up with a clever new game or how they got that perfect shot. You can tell how much Jeff loves working on this show by his excitement to discuss each episode. Great podcast for a great show.

After never missing a single episode of Survivor in the last 24 years ( I was 12 when Borneo premiered), I now never miss a single episode of this podcast! The insights from the different viewpoints of host, player and producer is awesome. I learn so much and am often surprised by what is shared. This has now become essential listening for my Thursday morning commute and coffee. Thank you so much for producing this podcast. I can’t wait until the next episode!
