Original Air Date: April 2, 2018 In every life, there are defining moments when a person must decide whether to stand up for what is right or remain silent. At a young age, Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai began boldly advocating for girls' access to education, which had been denied by the Taliban, an extremist Islamic group. The consequences were grave. In October 2012, the Taliban shot Malala point-blank in the head because of her outspoken beliefs. Miraculously, Malala survived and would go on to become the co-founder of the Malala Fund, which seeks to advocate and provide education to millions of young girls globally who are denied an education because of poverty, violence or tradition. Two years after the attack, Malala became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Malala describes to Oprah the last moment she remembers before being shot. The young activist says her recovery taught her that "there is nothing greater than the love and the prayer of people." Opera’s Super Soul Sunday is a real inspiration to one’s soul. The content is always uplifting and life-giving. Her guests are inspirational spiritual healers. Although we all have the ability to be spiritual healers, Oprah is able to beautifully generate dialogues with her guests so that listeners are captivated and drawn in with a sense of hope. Thank you Oprah for bringing us speakers who share their life wisdom, which is much needed in our world today. Every episode presents an opportunity for spiritual renewal!

Thank you Oprah for your amazing super souls. But as I write this, with what is going on in the world right now. I have 2 questions: What does Arthur mean about Mother Earth Want you to struggle and not achieve, I don’t believe Mother Earth has anything to do with it. I don’t think I’m understanding that part. And also as Harvard and so many other universities are a haven for hate speech . I’m wondering how Arthur is teaching about happiness right now and how does he believe that what is going on in universities today is making people happy.
