Poetry Off the Shelf
Producer Helena de Groot talks to poets about language, dreams, love and loss, identity, connection, anger, discomfort, the creative process, the state of the world and the world of the soul. Hard conversations are welcomed—laughter is, too.
Outstanding

I've forced my students to listen to this, because it is such a useful, topical, accessible discussion of worthy subjects. Only suggestion: make the uploads a bit more regular, so we know when to anticipate the next episode!
My favourite poetry podcast

This is one of the best out there. A wide range of topics and schools, a thoughtful and insightful discussion that doesn't over-intellectualize the poem or destroy it with too close of a reading. I don't always like the poems they feature, but I always go away having found something to appreciate about them. And I've often been introduced to poems I *do* love.
An excellent literary podcast.

Poetry Off the Shelf has a lively format that strikes just the right tone for trips on the bus or working out at the gym. It's intellectually stimulating while being light enough to let you accomplish some light task while listening. Well worth checking out, Jesse Ferguson New Brunswick, Canada
