As livestock ladies it's important for us to know about the equipment we need to get the job done. This is that episode! 
Being mom's with jobs and horses is pretty busy so it hasn't always been easy for us to be consistent podcasters, but it wouldn't be possible at all without our guys that have our back, Brad and Channce. So, it's only fitting that the two guys that are the biggest supporters of the podcast should be the first episode in our second year of podcasting. 
On this episode of Ride Like a Mother we invited our husbands to step up to the mic and add their voice to the conversation, specifically about farm equipment. 
Brad is an auctioneer at Grunthal Auction Service where him and his team auction everything from teacups to tractors. Brad is pretty well versed in the ins and outs of used equipment. 
Channce has been a mechanic for 11 years. Currently he works for Kubota and Versatile. This guy knows a thing or two about keeping your equipment in shape. 
We asked them both about owning and maintaining horse ranch equipment. We also discussed buying, selling and markets.

Alisha Froese is a Purebred Angus Breeder, YouTuber and barrel racer. Not to mention she's a mom and has a full time off farm job. If anyone knows about the hustle of Christmas on the farm it's her! 
That's why we thought it would be fun to have a conversation avoiding that frantic Christmas frenzy. We talked about what we do to feel relaxed and prepared for Christmas. We also shared a few stories of what NOT to do when preparing for Christmas, just to keep it real.

Let's talk Joints. If we are truly being honest we ALL have horses with some kind of joint health issues. Whether it's from arthritis, or a previous injury during the heat of competition.
This being said, this weeks episode is brought to you by Equine Vetrinary Specialist and President of the Canadian Vetrinary Medical Association; Dr. Chris Bell owner of Elder's Equine located in Manitoba, Canada. Dr. Bell goes into the process of how the equine joint functions, how we can prevent injury during competition, and how he as a specialist diagnosis and treats the conditon. We go over common joint health diagnosis, such as equine arthritis too common joint injuries.
