The show was okay…

There was not nearly enough about the victim and yet a ton about the murderer and how she should be released at some point because she made one mistake. I’m sorry, did I miss at any point during this entire thing her showing one tiny bit of remorse?

Not victim-centered; felt awful listening to this.

I don't respect this kind of storytelling. It was so horrible I couldn't listen. A more intelligent and compassionate storyteller would not dwell on the truly gory details of the crime, but might instead explore what drives a human being to commit such a depraved and sadistic act, and how the legal system deals with such people and whether justice for the victim and his family is even possible. I stopped listening when I realized this would not be a measured and thoughtful approach to a truly horrific crime because I don't want to contribute to the further victimization of Shad's family. Just awful.

Poor quality audio

Interesting case but the interrogation tapes are really unclear.
