Silent Hill (2006) feat. Pod Mortem Horror Queers

This week on the pod, keep an ear out for the air siren because we're headed to Silent Hill (2006) for its 15th anniversary. Along for the ride are Renee, Travis and John Paul of Pod Mortem, who provide both game expertise and disdain for the presence of Sean Bean's Chris (we love the actor, but why is he here?!)
Up for discussion: how director Christophe Gans scored the gig, how writer Roger Avary paid homage to AND overcomplicated the game's plot and grievances about the 2+ hour runtime.
Plus: compliments for the production design and monster choreography, issues with the depiction of sexual assault (CW) and questions about founding a child sacrificing cult in a small town.
