    Vision 2020

    Vision 2020

This year 2020 began a new decade and Nigerians had high hopes for the year, we had hope for better leadership and governance. The political leadership had envisaged that Nigeria would become one of the 20 best economies in the world. This was topmost among the goals that grabbed public imagination since it was launched 11 years ago, conceived by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in 2006, and launched by late President Umaru Yar'Adua. We have gone half pass the year already and Nigeria's economy is facing collapse instead of the initial plans by the government to become one of the 20 best economies in the world. Should we say the Nigeria government failed as a result of the world pandemic? Can we call it a blessing or a curse in Nigeria?
Listen to Grace as she shares with us the vision 2020 and the review of the first half of the year.

    Dear Bad Lecturers 2020

    Dear Bad Lecturers 2020

Talking about our experiences in uni was the best way we could dish out activities in the Nigeria higher institutions.
Being a student in Nigeria is the ghetto. You will have to deal with a lot of things and at the top of this list are the lecturers. Some lecturers are good but then some lecturers are without conscience.
I know quite many undergraduate and postgraduate students who are passing through hell in the name of receiving education in Nigeria. A lot of lecturers in the Nigerian universities — most especially the public ones have turned themselves into the demigods oppressing the students, though they are supposed to inspire and empower young people within and outside the classroom.
Some of this lecturer believe A is for God, while B is for them, so no matter the effort the student puts in he ends up with a C grade.

    Farmers Suppose Be Millionaires

    Farmers Suppose Be Millionaires

In times like this, when the world is experiencing a pandemic. "Nigerians don't need white collar jobs, what we need are more farmers".
Farming is not just another great way to get rich. There’s a higher calling in it, a mix of money, enjoying life, fulfilling your destiny, and a dose of altruism: “Africa has a serious food problem,” And “the only real way to solve it is to draw more people back to agriculture.”
During this period of #stay at home, in civilized countries, the governments have everything mapped out already, by making provisions of food for her people. But is that the case in Nigeria? I bet you know the answer already.
In our dear country Nigeria, most families right now are been faced with hunger strike, because there's no food supply.
Even though we are so much blessed with rich minerals and fertile soil we are still dieing of hunger because our government, years ago neglected farming for crude oil and so everyone of her citizen except few left farming for white collar jobs, now we are made to dance to the music of our leaders actions in ages past.
But what about the few farmers in practice, why are they not well to do like their counterpart in developed countries, why are farmers not millionaires? Perhaps if the few in practice are rich, it will encourage the younger generation to start farming.
Well, the answer is not far fetched!
Nobody wants to do the conventional standing in the hot sun, and sweating and labour that comes out with that, Farmers are faced with various challenges from feeding an expanding global population to meeting rising demands which involves producing more foods on lesser acres to the detriment of using less arable land, producing high quality and bountiful yields, rearing healthy and numerous cattle, financial security, good education for the children and better home and life for all.
On this episode our guest, the CEO OF FRESH FROM THE FARM AGRIC WORLD LTD gave us an insight into what's to come when our government support and encourage farming in the country.

    Body Transformation

    Body Transformation

Africa is experiencing a massive trend of increased use of skin bleaching which otherwise is known as Whitening or skin toning
and the practice of plastic or cosmetic surgery.
Many Nigerians see skin bleaching or cosmetic surgery as standard procedure, a gateway to beauty and success. The horror is that we do not know what these things do in high concentrations over time in the body. They damage our respiratory, kidney and reproductive systems.
Most times these body bleaching creams and pills cause cancer, affect the nervous system, and most likely deform unborn babies.
To the users of body Transformation they have reasons for bleaching their skin and carrying out a plastic surgery.
Some say, it helps to boost their self esteem, some others do it for the sake of keeping that job, maintaining a relationship
or been accepted and appreciated by the society.
Howbeit, whatever the reason is, people should not forget the side effects. Whatever you cannot live up to, you shouldn't practice it.
Tampering with your natural body shape or skin color won't make the society appreciate you more. Damn whatever people will say, you are
