    Anna Lyons & Louise Winter

“We All Know How This Ends” by end-of-life doula Anna Lyons and funeral director Louise Winter opens up the conversation surrounding death and dying, something desperately needed for those of us who tread lightly around the subject, if at all. Through a collection of heartbreaking, surprising, and uplifting stories of the ordinary and extraordinary they encounter each day, Anna and Louise share the lessons they’ve learned about life, death, love and loss, and encourage us to embrace the end of our lives the same way we embrace the beginning. Uniquely compelling and thought-provoking, We all know how this ends offers real-world insight and advice and proves why is so desperately important for us to engage in open conversations about death.

Matt & Toby: Tour Partying, $WALLS, and How to Scam Your Fans

Matt MacDonald from The Classic Crime joins the show to talk about band stuff and partying on tour and sex or lack thereof in our bands. Also, trying to introduce new things to fans is universally frustrating and usually devolves into being accused of “scamming your fans.” Aaron almost has a mental breakdown over the reaction to trying to sell his As Cities Burn book on their Facebook page.

The 69x Challenge (Game Explanation and Walkthrough)

The 69x Challenge is a discomfort management tool that we use to break out of our comfort zones and form the habits that we seek to gain and sustain.  It can also be described as "a community based physical and mental challenge for misfits and fuckups"
If you are not interested in The 69X Challenge, please skip this episode. It is NOT a normal episode and you won't like it.
If you are already registered for the challenge, or are curios about it then play on!

This episode is a walk through of the rules of the game and how we will evaluate and score ourselves and a little how the teams will work.  I thought the best way to do this would be to get with Devin and Caity, who often help push me through work and think through detailed things, and make sure that the rules makes sense.  So this is just a conversation we were already gonna have about the rules and I thought it could be useful as many people might have the same questions and reactions as Devin and Caity.

Fruliej ,

Just bad.

Bad Christian? No. There’s very little that’s Christian here. I honestly thought it was two 15 year old rebellious potty mouths complaining about how much the Bible confuses them and how they love and promote sex toys... but apparently they are adults with children of their own.
I’m hoping their kids rebel and become John MacArthur fans and 5 point Calvinists who actually love God’s Word.

What kind of podcast is this

Was really good have no idea what’s going on anymore.

Pastor Archie ,

Bothered

The guests chosen and interviewed are exceptional. There’s a wide variety of experience and expertise drawn from.
I’m bothered whenever I listen.
When I disagree with points and perspectives, I’m bothered because I’m challenged in my own thinking.
When I whole heartedly agree with perspectives shared I’m bothered because these perspectives usually require some action from me, or changes in my own life.
They always deny that they’re a ministry, but they’ve done much good for me personally and professionally (pastorally). I’ve been introduced to many authors, bands and experts through this podcast. I’ve passed many of these experts on to others.
