Resident Biblical Scholar? I think not
The podcast claims to have a resident biblical schola; it does not. That title is almost always reserved for people with PhDs that have an advanced understanding of either the New Testament or the Hebrew Bible. They can be believers or non -believers. In this case, the person does not even have a bachelor degree in Religious Studies. Want to joke around and have fun? Go ahead. Want to do a podcast on biblical history without the educational background? You can do that too (and there are some very good ones like that). Giving yourself a title you haven’t earned is just not right.

Absolutely adore this podcast. Loved it with just the classic episodes and now love it even more with the added episodes on the "off weeks". I've grown up in the church and with these stories, but Jamie, Knox and Erin never cease to bring new perspective. Loaded with thoughtful commentary, head-scratching, what-the-heck moments (because... the Bible is weird!) and laughs.
