Join host and Member of Parliament Jamie Schmale for a look at the hottest topics hitting Canada’s political landscape, and how they might impact Canadians.
The Uyghur Genocide
Members from all parties voted to recognize the genocide currently being carried out by the People’s Republic of China against Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslims. While Justin Trudeau and his cabinet continue to turn a blind eye to this horrific conduct, their refusal to vote and stand up for basic human rights speaks volumes. To […]
The Liberals’ Ongoing Vaccine Failure
A year into the pandemic, the Liberal government is underutilizing the tools that exist to effectively manage the spread of COVID-19 such as vaccines, rapid testing, and variant testing capacity. Justin Trudeau remains far behind in getting vaccines to Canadians, and many questions remain as to how he plans to reach his own timeline of […]
Justin Trudeau’s government has consistently failed in keeping Canadians safe and his vague policies have caused confusion and outrage. As we enter the second year of the pandemic, the Liberal government has allowed life saving vaccines to slip through their fingers and committed to suppliers that do not see Canada as a priority. To discuss […]
The “Buy American” Plan
Trudeau has failed to stand up for Canadians. He has failed Canadian’s health with one of the worst COVID-19 responses in the world, and during this health crisis failed to stand up for Canadian jobs with the cancellation of the Keystone XL Pipeline. Now, the Biden administration’s “Buy American” plan puts our economic recovery at […]

Kurek, Member of Parliament for Battle River — Crowfoot; Gary Vidal, MP, Member of Parliament for Desnethé — Missinippi — Churchill […]

The Liberal government has failed victims of abuse by allowing this devastating issue to become lost […]

A great podcast!
It’s great to hear from a variety of real members of parliament and their perspectives!
I listen to hear the Conservative view. But it’s really dry and full of content that can be easily be found on an MPs Twitter page, sadly.
The partisan biz angle is too strong
Look when I keep hearing about small business and companies spoken as if they are people- in the middle of this pandemic it really wears thin. This government track record is not as bad as host rhetoric. People directly need some support and of that business owners are also a unique stakeholder but Conservative are harp so hard on business needs and rarely ever take a wider view of public needs. Myopic Conservatives. At least you can hear what makes them tick/whine.
