With a background in accounting, 20+ years experience running a thriving wellness clinic and educating practitioners all over the nation, Ronda shares her best business and marketing practices so you too can thrive. She knows all too well that being a great clinician won’t get you far if you don’t understand how to run a profitable business!⁣

They say life has a plan for us all… Well, after her child’s cancer diagnosis in the 90’s, Ronda fought hard to save her and became a functional medicine doctor. She then grew a successful wellness practice, but later fell into deep financial trouble after a bad investment. Again, she leaned into her business background and dug herself out, re-establishing her practice as the #1 clinic in a highly competitive market. Educating and supporting fellow practitioners along the way, she quickly realized that they too need the business and marketing tools that helped her succeed. Ronda is a bookkeeper, turned clinician, turned consultant and she’s here to make a difference.⁣

On the Clinical Entrepreneur Podcast, Ronda distills the best advice from her own experiences, interviews top thought leaders in the clinical and business realm and then applies it to the world of healthcare in a way that is easy to understand and implement. You can expect raw business coaching sessions, honest conversations with industry peers and most importantly: tactical tips and a step-by-step plan to empower entrepreneurs to build a brand they believe in, market themselves in our ever-changing world and create a life they love.

Creating a ‘Sticky’ Practice: Make Note of the Memorables (Part 3)

Creating a ‘Sticky’ Practice: Make Note of the Memorables (Part 3)

We’ve already chatted about two other ways you can create a practice that keeps patients coming back and today, I’m going to wrap up this pony show 🐎 with a personal touch.

One of the most important aspects of having a thriving practice is creating meaningful connections with your patients. One of the BEST ways to do that is by celebrating or remembering the memorable moments in their lives. 📸 💭

Your patients will feel SO special when they get a card from you congratulating them on a recent professional success 🏆, celebrating their birthday 🤩 or sending flowers upon the loss of a precious family pet. 🐾

I’m willing to bet money that if you make your patients feel like they truly belong in your practice, you’ll create your own fan base, and they’ll tell everyone they know how incredibly thoughtful and considerate you are. That’s the best kind of marketing there is! ✨

So, tune in today to hear all the ways you can take note of and celebrate the memorable moments in your patients’ lives. 🥂

Gold Nuggets (2:23) Add this one thing to your intake form and watch your patients LIGHT up! (4:17) Take good notes and listen for memorable moments (6:30) One of the biggest reasons my practice exploded early on (7:16) Create a “We See You” budget (you’ll have to listen to find out what it is!)

Creating a ‘Sticky’ Practice: Designing Patient Resources that Walk and Talk (Part 2)

Last week we covered how you can create a video library and then turn it into a low-cost membership for your patients (which is a SURE way to wow your patients) whether they’re new to you or not.

Another foolproof way to get patients to keep coming back is by providing useful, valuable resources for them that are so great, they want to share with their friends, post online or give to a neighbor. 🖥📬 And that’s exactly what we’ll be talking about today!

I’ll give you three super-easy ideas you use to create a memorable resource for your patients. But wait…. if you scroll down, you’ll see that I even created the first one for you! 😃

Creating a ‘sticky’ practice isn’t rocket science 🚀 but it does take a little effort on your part to keep clients engaged, interested and wondering what’s the next thing up your sleeve. 🧥

You don’t have to do them all at once but pick your favorite and just get started! 🤩

Gold Nuggets (5:38) The first resource I ever designed at my brick-and-mortar that made my patients go WILD. (8:22) How to curate a reading list for your patients (or use our template and make it your own 😉). (13:35) Give your clients some homework with a few of these ideas! (16:50) Get creative with how you can also teach your patients at the same time!

What if I told you that you had an incredibly valuable and untapped resource right at your fingertips? One that you’ve already paid for but probably aren’t using to its full capacity? 😳
And no, I’m not talking about your computer or social media or anything like that. I’m talking about using what’s in your noggin to strengthen your patient relationships and make some passive income. 🧠💰

You already went to school, survived that, and now you have your own business doing what you love. You have an absolute WEALTH of knowledge… but what do you do with it?

It just sits in your mental filing cabinet until someone asks you a question and you need to open the file. 🗃

As a well-qualified health practitioner, you have REAL solutions for the problems people are facing. So, today we’re going to unpack how to use all that knowledge to help you create a ‘sticky’ practice.

This episode dives deep into turning your info into recurring revenue AND building patient loyalty by creating a video library that contains valuable information! 🎥📚

So, let’s get into the nitty-gritty on how you can get started!

Three Empowering Questions to Help You Break the Cycle

Three Empowering Questions to Help You Break the Cycle

I recently attend a Mastermind retreat and celebrated a BIG milestone birthday (cheers to turning 21 again! 🥳), which led me to zoom out a bit and take a 30,000-foot look at where I am heading - in my life and my business.
As the first session of the Mastermind began, we were asked three very poignant questions, right off the bat. And each one of them came loaded with some really hard, but important revelations that I want to share.
All of us have been caught in the cycle of “I want… or I need…. or I should… (fill in the blank).” Whether you want to grow your practice, make more money, pay off debt, or spend more time with the fam, we often get stuck always “wanting” but never actually doing.
What’s missing is the action step. 🥴
And that’s literally THE most important part. Without taking action, it’s highly likely that nothing will change. EVER. 🚫
And because of this, we end up with a “to-do” list a mile long that keeps us busy but we never actually make progress toward what we really want to accomplish. It’s a vicious cycle.
But this is not a one-way ticket on the Guilt Trip Express, I promise. Because honestly, I’m right there with you, feeling the same things. 💺
Here’s the big question: “If nothing changes, will you be happy with where you are one year from now?”
If the answer is no, buckle up. Cuz we’re gonna get serious about changing this around – and we’re gonna do it together. 🫶🏻

Gold Nuggets (2:08) Three questions that got me thinking… (7:00) If something is no longer serving you, it could be blocking you from forward progress. (11:37) Sometimes it’s scary taking a step in the right direction. (13:15) What’s one of your big goals for next year?

Choosing a Niche That's Scary with Andra Hall

Choosing a Niche That's Scary with Andra Hall

This week I have my long-time colleague and friend, Andra Hall on the podcast to chat about why she decided to completely change the focus of her practice and work with patients inside a very specific yet controversial niche, one that conventional medicine largely discredits or ignores.
As a Physician’s Assistant and someone who has an extensive medical background, Andra realized there were so many people desperately looking for someone to listen and acknowledge the validity of their symptoms but didn’t have anywhere to go. Knowing that she would be able to help them regain their health, she dove headfirst into this controversial niche that most others wouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole. 🫣

Now, she loves being able to give her patients the opportunity to work on removing the underlying cause, supporting the body’s innate ability to heal, and most importantly, giving them hope that they truly can feel better.

She also mentions a very specific supplement that you may want to have on hand (*wink wink) just in case….

So listen in to Andra’s amazing story and then be sure to stay tuned all the way to the end to find out how you can win BIG in our 100th episode giveaway happening in June!

Gold Nuggets (6:30) Why Andra is so confident about helping her patients fully recover. (13:35) Four things you can do to start healing your body (the last one is not what you’d expect!) (17:20) A proverb that Andra holds onto tightly. (21:18) Why hope is the first step. (27:32) Andra’s favorite supplement for the type of patients she sees.
