The Sex Series: Our Sexual Fantasies Are Roadmaps (Interview with Therapist Jay Stringer)
On today's show, I have Jay Stringer joining me to talk about our unwanted sexual behavior and thoughts. Jay is a therapist who is particularly interested in helping people find healing from sexual brokenness, and even more specifically, by helping people to listen to their lust. He says that Sexual fantasies are roadmaps and they pinpoint the location of your past harm and highlight the current roadblocks that keep you from freedom. If we pay attention, our sexual brokenness will reveal the way to healing.

Powerful episodes on Gaslighting
I was introduced to Sarah’s podcast via Sharon Hodde Miller. I followed her on IG and then looked into her podcast. I was vaguely familiar with gaslighting but listening to Sarah’s podcast series brought me to tears. So gentle and full of wisdom, she speaks powerfully and gently from experience.
I’ve been loving Sarah Mae’s podcast. I particularly enjoyed the episode with Dannah Gresh, as I also grew up in purity culture and I’ve been wrestling with how to raise my own children.
Boundaries Between Mothers and Daughters-in-Law
What a fabulous podcast episode! The advice and recommendations were full of grace and wisdom. I feel hopeful about the relationship with my future daughter-in-law; this episode gave me a lot of peace in the thought of letting things develop naturally and leaving it in God's hands through prayer. What a gentle and gracious path to loving relationships in families. Thank you!!
