Project planning 197
Hi,
I recently discovered your podcast and had been going back to the archive listening to old episodes. So my review is bit behind the time.
Many episodes resonate with me. However, ep 197 on project planning is particularly special close to my heart.
See, I’m trained as a computer engineer and jewelry making is my second art.
I’ve always interested in handmade crafts and can safely to say I’ve try many. I often told people that I’m a engineer because it is my highest paying hobby.
When I started my jewelry business, I took the same approach as I did before; started an engineering log book and the project management process. My handmade buddies mystified why I carry my engineering log book around. Didn’t she retired from her day job?
The process gives me structure and helps me progress forward, one little step at a time.
I’ve been selling my work for over 12 years and online on Etsy for the last 5 (Mingjewelschic is my store name). Currently, I’m working on starting my website, and all the associated tasks around it. Again, my trusted engineering log book is back by my side.
Enjoy your podcast and look forward to each new ones.
