    Derek Sivers talks about how he makes ideas stick, how he breaks away from the unhelpful autopilot, and how he carves out space to take action aligned with what he values most--learning & creating. 

    Derek Sivers started his career as a professional musician and circus clown. He ran a recording studio for 12 years before founding CD Baby in 1998.  CD Baby became the largest independant online music seller, with over 100 million dollars in sales. In 2008, Derek sold CD Baby for $22 million and gave all proceeds to establish a charitable trust for music education. Derek is also a speaker and his TED Talks have been viewed over 20 million times. He has authored books like Anything You Want and How to Live.  Today, Derek resides in New Zealand, where he dedicates more than 12 hours a day to creating and learning.
