Great interview!

I’m not enjoying it as much as I used to. Now I prefer Sasquatch chronicles, mysterious universe, the confessionals podcast, believe, paranormal portal, etc. This one has turned quite lame compared to the other ones. I think the host is narcissistic and that’s also a turn off. Most of the shows are “subscribers only” so it’s made me go elsewhere for my podcast itch.

I listened for a few episodes and soon realized that the primary focus of the podcast seemed to be more about selling stuff rather than informing or entertaining the listener . Guests promote their books and podcasts, Jim sells his “merch”, (t-shirts and trinkets) throughout the podcast. I lost interest and unsubscribed as It was easier than fast forwarding through the annoyances.

Jim, I’m a long time supporter but I’m sorry, your interview with the “numbers lady” was terrible…especially when she told us that numbers can perform miracles like curing cancer and eyesight!! Such harmful mis and disinformation it made me feel sick. You mentioned in the same episode that you do not accept snake oil salesmen in your ads, but you went ahead an invited a guest ON YOUR SHOW that was selling snake oil - this pseudoscience idea that “only I can change your life for the better, cure your cancer, cure your diseases, cure your marriage, cure your financial problems, cure your relationships…but you need to buy my book, subscribe and pay for membership first”…how do you not see this as snake oil? It’s incredibly privileged, not to mention harmful to put this thought into people’s heads and potentially steer then away from evidence based interventions that will ACTUALLY help their health. This episode was really disheartening. You should be ashamed of your role in supporting such a charlatan like that.
