Steve is a big personality and this goes way beyond the usual boundaries of politics. This is about how people feel about places and how places feel about themselves.
Plus who has the better music... Liverpool or Manchester?
(Manchester, obviously)

Customer Reviews
Open interviewer and phenomenal format
As a Canadian, these sorts of interviews are very enjoyable, since both the interviewee and Matt are both aware that this is a reporting and information dissemination podcast, not punditry or criticism. Very enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Outstanding
Very enjoyable podcast combining humour and insight into British politics through interviews with people from across the political spectrum. For a British/Canadian, this podcast provides a much needed connection back to British politics.
Diverse Opinions and Interesting Conversations
Matt Force gives us many interesting dialogues and introduces listeners to a diverse range of perspectives. He includes many voices I admire, ones that I had never thought of before, and many I wholly disagree with. Even the guests I do not agree with on most issues bring interesting perspectives that I enjoy hearing. However, Matt’s own political bias does intrude into the show (being unable to criticize Blair, for example: I am relatively positively disposed to New Labour but find this off-putting). On occasion, as well, Matt can be quite uncritical of some guests who make claims which are not supported.
These critiques, however, are minor: overall this is an excellent podcast and a fascinating listen.
