I've been a subscriber to sister podcast "The World Next Week" for many years. I was thrilled to find out that "The President's Inbox" was sticking around after its initial run, and continues to give great insight into the various policy issues that Trump will have to deal with. The consistency of the lineup presenters is a real help. Jim Lindsay and Robert McMann have a natural rapport not unlike those heard on public radio (such as NPR) and present the podcast upward of 90% of the time. The key difference from TWNW, however, is the inclusion of subject matter experts to give a deeper dive into the issue or area being examined. If you are a fan of TWNW (and indeed good public radio), you should love this podcast. Highly recommended.
Excellent Podcast

Came to this from CFR’s other podcast The World Next Week. I almost prefer this due to its focus on a single topic with an expert. I have never failed to walk away with something to think about and usually a couple of book recommendations after listening to each episode.
Stopped listening

Stopped listening when the guest used Canada as his example of an unimportant country that shouldn’t have an interest in grand strategy and that only the US and China need worry about such things. Not trying to suggest that Canada is an international super power but Americans really should stop ignoring their closest ally and biggest trading partner. Canada is not a backwater banana republic.
