May is Asian Heritage Month, and with culinary classes, cultural celebrations, performances and film screenings in the works, it's going to be a bigger celebration that usual across the Greater Saint John Region. Education Minister Bill Hogan says he will start the process to dissolve the Anglophone East district education council. The council has gone to court asking a judge to block Hogan from quashing its policy on sexual orientation and gender identity and to prevent the minister from dissolving the council. Michel Doucet, retired law professor with the Université de Moncton, weighs in.
