My son and I like to listen to this podcast while we’re doing household chores. We are learning a lot. We also like hearing Ivan decry the stupidity and destructiveness of humans.

I lived 14 years in Peru, truly a bird paradise. I’m not an ornithologist nor a birder. I just loved birds since birth and I love listening to this podcast! Every episode is very entertaining and educational and the host Ivan Phillipsen has a clear melodious voice that it’s perfect for it!

Imagine an evil witch named Grognar, who is the alter ego of your friend when he gets drunk. Grognar is a twisted and ancient hag, her face wrinkled and covered in warts, with sunken eyes that glow a sickly yellow. Her long, scraggly hair is matted and hangs like a curtain of darkness around her hunched, frail body. She wears tattered robes made from the skins of unknown creatures, stained with dried blood and strange symbols. Her fingers are long and bony, tipped with sharp, cracked nails, perfect for casting dark spells and brewing poisonous potions. In one hand, she clutches a gnarly staff, twisted and gnarled like a tree branch struck by lightning, and around her neck dangles a necklace of shrunken skulls that rattle as she moves. Despite her terrifying appearance, there's a hint of mischief in her wicked grin, as if Grognar revels in the chaos she creates.

I listen to this podcast while I’m on my way to go birding. What a way to get excited about encountering birds! In every episode, I learn cool things about my favourite creatures, and enjoy a laugh or two. Definitely my favourite podcast!
