S4 BONUS episode - Remembering the Holocaust with Robert Wolf, M.D.

His parents wrote his father's autobiography in the 1970's but Robert Wolf didn't explore the depths of their work until after his parents had both passed. Now, after having written and published the story and winning four recognizable achievement awards for the book and speaking all over the world, Robert was gracious enough to spend an afternoon with me.

Jane-Marie Auret knew more about my foster care than I did!

It's amazing when you sit down to have a conversation with someone you've never met, and they just happen to specialize in all the things that you went through and can tell you (for the first time in your life) what the good things were that you received from a situation. That was the conversation with Jane-Marie, who absolutely blew me away. She's amazing!

S4 E38 - The alcohol addiction, the depression, the self harm - they were signs of a deeper issue. Tamara didn't realize she was a survivor of trauma.

The first stage of trauma is denial. Tamara lived in denial of her own trauma for a great many years. When finally she started to acknowledge it, she'd already suffered from alcohol addiction, depression, suicidal fantasies, denial, and so much more. Memories of her early childhood manifested as things she thought others had told her they had witnessed. The truth shocked her - and forced her to dig deeper. Now Tamara lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and 2 perfect daughters. She works with other alcoholics in recovery, and she has a huge heart for sharing her journey of recovery, health and wellness with others. This interview will impact your life in ways unimaginable.
