Editor needs to be fired.
Too many “coming up after the break” just to drag it out.
Generally like the podcast but it needs to be trimmed around the breaks and please turn down the background music.
It’s a Podcast, not cable TV!
As a small business owner I get the “repurposing of content”, however, these are just the audio from the tv show with no extra editing for the listening only audience. A lot of info gets lost in translation with all the excess noise. Loud theatrical music might be ok on tv with closed captioning and we can read what is being said, but as an audio platform we want to hear the actual interrogation and not all that background noise. The other big network true crime shows aren’t near as bad with background theatrics. Reducing that would give me a lot less anxiety lol, and I feel from reading others reviews it’s a common feeling some of us have. I suggest hiring someone to repurpose the tv show’s audio properly. Some of us listen to the podcast only, I don’t watch tv because I can’t multitask when I do. We are your customers as well and I think it would be smart to catch up with the podcast times.
BUT…..I’m still going to listen, haha! Because other than the noise, I really enjoy the podcast!
Theatrical narrator
I really love this podcast but I think the male narrator’s voice is too theatrical, almost comically so. The material isn’t funny at all but he uses this over-the-top entertainment-style voice and I think it’s really off-putting.
