AvenSarah ,

So important -- and also fun!

Megan & Carrie tackle really important issues -- how we percieve language variation, and how those perceptions affect how we treat other people, how people access legal services and education and more, and how attitudes towards dialects and accents and languages are connected to almost every other aspect of society. But they also have fun and do a great job of clarifying the sometimes quite complicated linguistic issues under discussion. This podcast may change the way you view language, and that's a great thing!

One of my new faves

The podcasters are very knowledgeable and down to earth. I love the topic, something we don’t really think about but is so pertinent to our everyday lives. It’s thought provoking and I find myself learning something new every episode!
