The Truth about Making a Fly Fishing Movie together (w/ Tight Loops)

Behind the Release of our NEW Movie Hope & High Water (w/ Tight Loops + Will Phelps)
This past summer, we teamed up with talented filmmakers Will Phelps, as well as, Chase & Aimee Bartee of Tight Loops to document and produce a collaborative film "Hope & High Water." The film chronicles our quest to find the Yellowstone Cutthroat trout deep in the heart of their native range. After premiering the film to over 500 people in Salt Lake City and Denver, the crew sat down to relive their August trip and explore the inner workings of the film and the logic behind using the "Pay what you think is fair" model.

Chasing Bull Trout & Westslope Cutthroat in Canada (w/ Will Phelps)
My buddy Will Phelps & I spent 4 days fly fishing & living out of his van in Canada this summer. We explored old & new creeks and stumbled on some of the best fishing of the summer. Like any fishing trip, many things did not go as planned and we had our fair share of sketchy events including a massive hail storm while mid-way through our float trip. We dive into the whole trip and share a lot that wasn't covered in the full episodes. Sit back and enjoy!

Chasing the Famous Salmon Fly Hatch on the Henry's Fork
Brent and I link up with our buddy Steve to take another swing at chasing stoneflies in the west. This trip cam about super last minute but we heard reports of salmon flies so we packed the car up and headed to Idaho. From having my car break down to riverside camping in a thunderstorm, we do a deep dive on the trip and breakdown what went into this crazy couple of days. Enjoy!
