As a fellow Canadian

Good morning I’m just appalled at our southern neighbors funny how they’ve stopped talking about refugees that crossed the Canadian border many who died and were disabled and are coming or that over 20.000 Americans have applied for for citizenship in Canada but in order to get citizenship they have to give up their American citizenship and they do because of what is going on in America and if they want to live here just don’t tell a Canadian that your American because for the first time in my lifetime and I’m going to be 65 years old on my birthday they are not welcome here and I can have seen the reasons why because they are bringing their all their white supremacy, conspiracy theories and anti vax crap here and it’s causing a lot problems especially in small towns where families have lived for generations maybe you should as a Canadian should do a piece on what’s happening in Canada Thankyou for listening Glenna

Who’s editing/producing this?

Listen I want to give this five stars, Ali is brilliant, his reporting and interviews are excellent, however whoever is producing/editing the podcast version of the show needs to stop phoning it in.
It’s a broadcast show, there are major audio cues when a commercial break is coming. It should not be difficult to place the ads in the podcast in the same place. Instead Ali or his guests frequently cut off mid sentence, and then between 15 and 60 seconds of dead air where the mid roll advertising should be.
Amateur podcasters using free software can manage proper ad placement not sure why a major network broadcaster can’t.
