The Mess Around with Hannah and Lamorne
Go behind the scenes of Apartment 4D with the crew who called it home for seven incredible seasons. Each week, real-life friends Hannah Simone (Cece) and Lamorne Morris (Winston Bishop) rewatch their Emmy-nominated series, New Girl, and reveal the never-before-told behind-the-scenes escapades. Join them as they go bear hunting for every grizzly hidden in the background. Speaking of besties - they're inviting all of the loft's favorite guest stars, writers, and directors to share their adventures on set.

Love you guys and the rewatch podcast. I was upset when you guys take a long hiatus after like the first half ish of season 2 episodes when it was the 3 of you guys Hannah Zoey and lamorne and then came back just Hannah and lamorne. I just had to pause though in the middle of the lamorne won an Emmy loft meeting episode when Hannah that new girl came out basically at the end of modern family just to say that modern family ran from September 2009- April 2020 and new girl came out September 2011 (before season 3 of modern family came out) and ran until May 2018
Amazing pod but holy ads

It pains me to not give this 5 stars cuz I absolutely LOVE New Girl, it’s my fav show and I reference it all the time, but wow, way too many adds. Other than that, love this podcast so much! It’s so fun to hear the inside scoop of the episodes.

I love the show itself and I enjoy Lamorne and Hannah’s rapport. The conversations are fun and insightful as a fan of the show. My one complaint is the ads multiple long breaks of ads in each episode easily feels like 20 minutes of the show is advertising. I get that generates revenue for the hosts and producers but I have been spoiled on other podcasts where there are none or very few. Because of the ads I have to be mindful of when they will listen to this so I have the ability to fast forward past them. I get excited for a new episode but I dread how I have to consume the episodes.
I’m glad they rebooted but…

They still don’t actually take you through the episode. I prefer when rewatch podcasts, especially hosted by the actors, walk through a prepared breakdown of the episode so you can relive the moments and jokes, and discuss what was great and what wasn’t. The hosts seem to have a hard time staying on track. I want to be talked through the episode so we can relive it. Also how many times do they have to have the same fight about whether the “bear” counts.
