Inaccurate terms, incomplete information

I was stoked to see a podcast about personal finance but the more I listen, the more I hear inaccurate terms and incomplete information. In the episode about finances and children, the hosts did not once mention the Canada Child Benefit. This payment, that parents receive once a child is born, can make a really big difference to families. It helped us pay our bills especially while on maternity and parental leave. In the episode about TFSAs, the introduction characterizes a TFSA as a savings account. In reality, it is tax treatment of a chunk of money whether that is in a savings account or an investment fund or other. The imprecise language will definitely lead listeners astray. It is disappointing that this podcast has no social media so we can’t interact with it other than here.
