Our Life is a Dream – Wake Up!

Our Life is a Dream – Wake Up!

The ancient texts of yoga wisdom share that, in one sense, The world we live in is an illusion or like a dream. When we are having a bad or fearful dream, there is no point in trying to correct our situation within the dream. Rather the solution is to wake up! The wisdom of the sages of the Srimad Bhagavatam is the way to do it.  (covers Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.1-1.1.3)

Human Life is Meant For Inquiry Into the Absolute Truth

Raghunath & Kaustubha discuss the answer to the big question by the sages, "How can people find complete satisfaction of the self?" The answer is pure devotion. They also discuss that human life is meant for inquiry into the absolute truth, that knowledge and detachment come automatically with bhakti, that much of the yoga (asana) in the West, as well as America in general, could benefit from some sattva guna, the slippery slope into tamas, and recalibrating on Mondays.

Haribol Bhakta Steve ,

Hedonist turned Bhakti Yogi

My life has changed drastically for the better since I've started listening to Wisdom of the Sages. For decades before listening to WOTS I was living a hedonistic lifestyle. During Covid looking to make sense of the world I tuned on Joe Rogan to watch the Raghunath interview and was further interested in checking out the WOTS podcast. Fast forward a few years listening every day and joining their "Sage Groups" I've given up Meat eating (I worked at a Butcher Shop for years) Alcohol (a heavy drinker for years) and gave up Coffee (gave up Coffee while raising a Krishna Conscious Toddler!) I highly suggest for anyone searching for answers about life and wanting to know more about Yoga Philosophy to tune in to Wisdom of the Sages, join their discord group through their website and join a Sage Group as well (weekly zoom calls with members of the community!) After 1000's of shows they just keep getting better and better! Hare Krishna !

Amit Paramban ,

Thank you
