There is always a price you need to pay - Stefan Hadalin #9

Everything is possible with hard work and dedication. But is it? Only if and when you feel your body in order to input the right amount of pain and get the gain. The subjects that we touched with Stefan were deep and felt to the core, as pain is. A man with a lot of experience as a pro athlete. After all, he is a multiple world medal winner in ski racing.  So we dived deep into his quest for excellence on his journey towards success. How much of a price with his body he needed to pay? What were the triggers and situations where he began opening his eyes and the mind - body connection? Learning about his body and the nervous system saved him from going down with a bigger career ending injury. So he gradually reinvented himself and achieved results beyond. Now stepping into after career shoes, where he teaches others how to take care of their most precious asset - health.  Check out this episode where we explain the pressure that a pro athlete must endure and how he copes with it. More than interesting explanations that can be implemented even if you're not an athlete. Slowing down time and balancing the inside pressure with the external one. The answers do lie inside of us. We just need to be ready and open to look for them. To hear those answers that are life changing. Because we are all living in a world full of achievements and finding that right balance between the push and the flow.  Find out how Stefan is still in that search of the best adaptation. What are his traits and approaches that enable him to thrive while chopping away parts of him that do not serve anymore. The way he confronts limitations, before on the slopes going downhill more than 130km/h and now in life after his career. Now even more realizing that we have limited resources of life's energy and time. Learning how to relax his body and mind, when to be activated and how much.  01:29 Who is Stefan?  03:39 How does it feel being a gold, silver medal winner?  05:12 Would he be a skier, going down that path with what he knows now?   06:35 What is he doing differently now in life?  08:50 Professional sport and the body - mind disconnection  12:42 How did he manage to cope with the pressure? 17:59 How did he start to open and begin the quest for answers?  22:30 What was his positive trigger to start changing?  29:54 How was it for him when he started noticing changes and results?  31:21 What does the subconsciousness have to do with the body?  37:59 What pain level did he experience?  38:49 Contraction vs expansion & relax vs stretch  43:59 Who was Stefan before with no pain no gain, retraumatizing himself?  49:45 How is Stefan being now? It doesn't feel good, it only feels familiar - Urban Urbanc #7

Be ready to experience stability, wisdom and profoundness. Urban has transformed himself into a man that recognizes what is and what isn't. In this conversation he discusses the differences in between knowing or feeling your emotions. We dive into where in the body our emotions are stored. How can we release, acknowledge and accept them. Further on why is the nervous system wired that way to prevent anything new and stay in the familiar, predictable.  Staying in this familiar hell is demanding a high price on our body. You are responsible for your health by being proactive and changing yourself. Get all the instructions and views from Urban and myself. Having a teacher is of the utmost importance in order to get yourself in order. Being out of order is not healthy, on any level. Learning how to efficiently express emotions, thoughts and being in truth is the only way forward. Accepting depression to slow down and finding the root cause of your issues. Allowing yourself to feel and express, as a man and as a woman. In the end, no one is going to save you, but you yourself. As teachers are just showing you the mirror and guiding you on the path.  Is your sound the same as your picture? That is, are your spoken words the same as your body language - energy? Are you a people pleaser? Burnout, exhaustion, disconnection with your body. How to use time in order to achieve respect, responsibility, stability, trust, safety in a relationship? Changing your actions from ego and past auto pilot to new and efficient. What love is in 5 steps and fundamental things to comply with. Dive into this special and unique approach to life. Knowing about your body's energy level - Niko Akrap #6

The most honest, sincere and vulnerable conversation I had in a long time. Niko has shown his greatness by talking about his struggles and wins in life. How he is dealing with situations, family, children, gym, clients, finances and his own shadows.  The importance of being aware of your own body's energy level is crucial. By missing off in this assessment you are bound to lose the battle sooner than later. Niko explains the AEQ method approach that made him into a responsible man, husband, father. That faced with him harsh truths of life and set him free at the same time.  The need to change turned into a desire to change holistically. Now he lives his talk more and more. Teaches others how to do so by listening to their body's signals. By this process becoming aware of one's own energy levels. With this in mind you set on the path quite differently. Enabling you to prioritize, divide, accomplish long term goals.  This also gives you the energy to be with the most hidden demons, emotions and feelings that reside in you. How learning to be authentic can save your life - Adrijana Mori #5

Breaking out of the people pleasing character is extremely difficult. Especially in a team sport such as female football (soccer). Well, Adrijana is making her steps to being true to herself. To release the pressure of her shoulders. Acknowledging and respecting herself. The style of playing and behaving in order to honor her body, heart and soul. Not just the mind. Not just complying with the team, the coach, the teammates, or others. She has gone through hell with injuries. Already experienced double time the ACL rupture in 5 years and in between a meniscus injury. Of course she is thinking "What the hell is wrong with me?", but also doing all the necessary steps in order to understand and recognise the hidden patterns. Those autopilot fears, doubts and thoughts that manifest such an unpleasant journey of an athlete.  Adrijana is making it. Being more and more stable, content, optimistic and full of joy. Before going back after the last injury to her love of playing football, she has shared what it means to train herself to be authentic. Not anymore going all in and full on. Not killing herself every training. But minding her body and abilities. Working smarter, not harder. I might add, she is becoming wiser.  Give yourself a chance to listen to Adrijana's path from suffering to enjoying and everything in between. How she's dealing with pressure now in comparison to the past. How she manages to shut off the negative mind chatter and focus on the essence of joyful playing.  Oh yes, we also touched many of the tabu themes and intricate subjects that many avoid. Not us. We went head on. About the male approach of coaching in a female sport. The period cycle and its effects on the body. Individual adaptation of training and especially emotional support that every woman needs. And most importantly that there is life outside of sport. That you are more than just an athlete and not the value of your results. Allowing yourself the freedom to play with joy. Coping with pressure and stress the new way.  How did she do all of it in her young career? Have a listen:  00:00 Who is Adrijana as a female footballer and a person?  02:28 How did she deal with the pressure of the matches before? 07:10 What happens after an injury? How does the male approach to training and playing create too much pressure? 11:56 What about the mentality no pain no gain? Where is the joy of playing?  15:05 How are coaches (not) dealing with emotional approach to women? 17:38 ACL injury, what needs to change in order to prevent injuries? 21:54 How hard is it to be injured?  23:09 Reasons why and how the female body is different from the male 27:54 How have you changed into the right way for yourself?  32:07 How much does interoception bring to you?  39:36 Trusting yourself and doing the right amount. 44:00 How to trust the messages of your body? Your own body.  51:50 Fear of injury, mental health issue. Fear of failure.  54:40 Advice. Be authentic and start to listen to your body. 57:03 How difficult is it for Adrijana to stand up for herself?  01:01:02 What is the consequence of not being a people pleaser? Self confidence 01:02:33 Last advice for everyone that is dealing with and hurting, having challenges.
