A lighthearted look through the live of all the American presidents of the USA. Just how interesting were the POTUS of the past?
31.1 Herbert Hoover
Herbert Hoover lives an action packed life full of contradictions. Join us as we try and figure out who this man is. A robber Barron? A great humanitarian? A populist? A progressive? A massive racist? And also, will he be ready for the upcoming great crash?
Release Schedule update
UPDATE: We are changing how we release our episodes. It's getting harder and harder to keep on top of the current weekly release, and it's only going to get harder as we get closer to modern times in the President series. Therefore we are going to use the following release schedule.
Romans: No change. Two-weekly releases. One emperor per episode.
Presidents: Instead of- Ep.1, Ep.2, Ep.1, Ep.2 etc, there will now be a gap between presidents to give me more time to research. So it will be Ep.1, Ep.2, No Ep, Ep.1, Ep.2, No Ep, etc.
Hope you all understand. I didn't want to do this, but the workload is starting to get unmanageable, and I'd rather release slower than rushing the research and missing things/making mistakes. Cheers.
30.2 Calvin Coolidge
We found it hard to figure out Coolidge last episode, but maybe this episode will clear things up. Find out what he got up to as president! Oh, and there is a vibrating horse and a rampaging bear in it.
30.1 Calvin Coolidge
Coolidge may be a man with hidden depths, but if he is, they are ocean-trench deep. Join us as we try and figure out if Coolidge has a dry wit and worked hard to get the top job, or he is a robot with a lot of luck.
29.2 Warren Harding
Harding was never more popular than the day after he died, and then it all started to go wrong for him. So why has Harding's reputation taken such a battering in the last 100 years. Find out as we continue the Amazing Adventures of Warren and Jerry!
29.1 Warren Harding
At last we come to harding. Harding may not have stood tall in US history, but he does make a bit of a splash. In this episode we got stuck into what makes Harding an interesting, if not nice man.
Love these entertaining and informative podcasts. Provides an excellent overview of American history and shines a light on the lesser known presidents. My American friends have joked I am now more informed on American history than they are.
The Perfect Commute
I’ve listened to plenty of history podcasts and this is by far my favourite. Jaime and Rob deliver a knowledgable and lighthearted review of each POTUS with plenty of laughs and quips throughout.
I’ve probably recommended this to anyone who’ll listen to me. Kudos, gents, it really does make the commute to work more enjoyable 👍🏻
